Abstract
LaPO4 nanofibers were synthesized and their bundle-like assemblies were investigated in reverse micelles system. Techniques of XRD, XPS, TEM, SEM and UV–vis absorption spectra were used to characterize the morphology, structure and composition of the nanofibers and the bundle-like products. The experimental results show that the obtained LaPO4 nanofibers are large aspect-ratio and narrow distribution of diameter and their assembly process can be regulated through the control of different experimental parameters. The possible mechanism of bundle-like assemblies was also proposed.
