Abstract
⺠We investigated clonal T cell expansion in experimental stroke. ⺠Spectratype analysis was used to detect T cell receptor repertoire diversity. ⺠We detected T cell expansion in brains at 7 days and 14 days after stroke. ⺠Clonal expansion was also observed to a lesser extent in spleens and lymph nodes. ⺠This is the first study directly showing clonal T cell expansion after stroke.
