Abstract
⺠Ag/BSA nanoparticles were formed by chemical reduction of AgNO3 and BSA mixture. ⺠The role of BSA was to stabilize the nanoparticles as established by UV-Vis. ⺠Based on AAS and TGA data, molar ratio of Ag to BSA in the nanoparticles is 27:1. ⺠TEM images shows two distinct phases in Ag/BSA nanoparticles. ⺠XPS confirmed that outer and inner region is rich in BSA and silver, respectively.
