Abstract
⺠Biogenic amines form outer-sphere electrostatic complexes at silica surface. ⺠Adsorbed biogenic amines are exposed to thermal deamination. ⺠Deamination process includes thermal transformation of two types of surface complexes. ⺠Kinetic parameters (activation energy) correlate with thermodynamic stability constants of biogenic amine surface complexes.
