Abstract

âº An/Ln:clay outer-sphere species characterized and quantified by spectroscopic methods. âº Spectroscopic results were confirmed by model calculations. âº Combination of different spectroscopic and theoretical methods provides an insight into the fundamental understanding of processes at the water/mineral interface.
