Abstract
Gastrointestinal basidiobolomycosis should be considered in the differential diagnosis of every child presenting with abdominal pain, fever and palpable abdominal mass with peripheral eosinophilia. The presence of bowel inflammation and fistulas should not preclude such diagnosis.
