Abstract
⺠Upper gastrointestinal involvement is common in paediatric patients with IBD. ⺠Characteristic findings were noted in one third of patients with CD. ⺠Abnormalities observed in UC were unspecific and did not provide diagnostic help. ⺠EGD helped to establish the final diagnosis in 9% of CD patients (diagnostic yield).
