Abstract
The adsorption of selenite on calcined Mg/Fe LDH is appreciably higher (64.0%) than the same through anion exchange of uncalcined precursor (52%). The decrease in the exchange ability of uncalcined LDH may be caused due to the strong interaction of CO2â3 in the interlayer space with the metal hydroxide layer.
