Abstract
One- and two-dimensional structures of mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA)-coated gold nanoparticles have been prepared using poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) as a template through hydrogen bonding interaction between the COOH groups of surface-adsorbed MUA and the COC groups of PEO.
