Abstract
⺠Chromosome copy number varies dramatically across the archaea. ⺠Sulfolobus has post-replicative sister chromatid cohesion. ⺠Replication termination in Sulfolobus is by random fork collision. ⺠Archaeal chromosome dimer resolution systems are related to those of bacteria. ⺠Numerous cell division machineries exist in distinct archaea.
