Abstract
⺠Alcoholic extracts of this plant exhibit significant antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. ⺠Lower MIC and MBC values for methanol extract display it as a better antimicrobial agent. ⺠The extracts exhibited radical scavenging effect in concentration-dependent manner. ⺠The extracts showed maximum inhibitory effect against Klebsiella pneumonia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. ⺠The antimicrobial activity of the extracts was concentration dependent.
