Abstract
► Alcoholic extracts of this plant exhibit significant antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. ► Lower MIC and MBC values for methanol extract display it as a better antimicrobial agent. ► The extracts exhibited radical scavenging effect in concentration-dependent manner. ► The extracts showed maximum inhibitory effect against Klebsiella pneumonia and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. ► The antimicrobial activity of the extracts was concentration dependent.
