Abstract
⺠GBS-PGK was found on the GBS surface and secreted into the culture media. ⺠GBS-PGK was found to bind actin, fibronectin plasmin and plasminogen. ⺠GBS-PGK expressed in the HeLa cell cytoplasm resulted in cytoskeleton disruption. ⺠We conclude that GBS-PGK may contribute to GBS virulence.
