Abstract
- Neat and compatibilized HDPE/EVA blend membranes were successfully fabricated via TIPS method.
- PE-g-MA as compatibilizer was used to improve HDPE/EVA blend compatibility.
- Porosity and pure water flux increased with increasing of EVA content up to 10Â wt.%.
- Tensile strength of compatibilized blend membrane was better than neat blend membrane.
- Total fouling of compatibilized blend membrane was lower than neat blend and pure HDPE membranes.
