Abstract
- The influence of UGR and liquid properties on ÉG and kLa in bioreactors was studied.
- Oxygen transfer parameters were higher for airlift reactors, especially DTA reactor.
- The scales of 10Â L exhibited the highest values of ÉG and kLa in all cases.
- Simple and dimensionless correlations to predict these variables were obtained.
- The models showed good fittings to the experimental data with maximum 15% deviation.
