Abstract
- PIV measurements and CFD simulations of hydrodynamics by modified pitched blade turbine are carried out.
- The effects of blade shape on flow field and global parameters are studied.
- The higher mean velocity and the lower local energy dissipation rate are obtained.
- The relationship among blade shape, hydrodynamics and performance is identified to optimize impellers.
