Abstract
⺠This work investigates trend of drop size distribution along active column height. ⺠The effects of operating variables and physical properties of liquid are investigated on the drop size. ⺠Two correlations are proposed to predict Sauter-mean drop size. ⺠Two normal distribution functions are presented to predict drop size distribution.
