Abstract
► We analyse hollow-fibre membrane separation of a multicomponent gas mixture. ► Solution considers multicomponent gas mixture and pressure drop profile inside the fibre. ► Parametric analyses found optimally performing designs of membrane gas separation. ► High selectivity does not have a notable impact on membrane performance. ► A medium selectivity combined with medium/high permeance is more advantageous.
