Abstract
⺠Chemical species create lines that define attainable boundaries in a GH plot, hence the interactions between competing reactions in a reactor can be analyzed. ⺠Provides useful information for evaluating an operating process, allowing for a greater insight. ⺠The result of changing process feed and operating parameters can be easily and rapidly interpreted. ⺠Most favorable conditions were obtained at lower temperatures and at higher pressures. ⺠Water and/or CO2 as feed result in more reaction path alternatives for methanol synthesis.
