Abstract
- Optimal points for the separation of gases within the Robeson's upper limit were found.
- The analysis used a techno-economical optimization.
- The following gas pairs were considered: CO2/N2, O2/N2, CO2/CH4, and N2/CH4.
- A tradeoff between the cost (area) of the membrane and the cost for compression was found.
