Abstract
⺠The spatial variation of wall temperatures in an exhaust catalyst has been measured. ⺠Putting this temperature data beside exhaust gas emission data gives new insights. ⺠The position of the most active areas of the catalyst are seen to change with time. ⺠This information will be most useful to test the validity of mathematical models.
