Abstract
⺠Amine-carbonate blend increased carbon carrying capacity due to presence of carbonate. ⺠Rate enhancement due to carbonate balanced effect of increased ionic strength and viscosity of blend on mass transfer. ⺠Energy penalty of blend was about 10% lower than that of 30 wt% MEA in pilot-scale study.
