Abstract
⺠Plaster of paris was subjected to three different drying techniques. ⺠Detail study was done on drying kinetics, characteristics and diffusivity. ⺠Among microwave, convective and combine drying, microwave performed better. ⺠A new mathematical correlation was developed for microwave drying. ⺠New correlation represented the effect of process parameters on moisture removal.
