Abstract
► This study presents numerical modeling of binary water droplet coalescence in oil under the effect of different waveforms. ► VOF method has been applied as an accurate approach in CFD for modeling of water/oil interphase tracking. ► The results indicate that the effective values of an electric field waveform can be related to RMS.
