Abstract
⺠Mathematical model for Co2+ ion extraction using HFSLM operated in recycling mode. ⺠Di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (D2EHPA) was used as an extractant. ⺠Counter-ion (H+) transport resistance has been incorporated in the model. ⺠Mass balance for D2EHPA has also been considered in the model. ⺠Metal-complex diffusivity (Dm) through the membrane phase was the only adjustable parameter.
