Abstract
⺠Effects of eccentricity and drill pipe rotation in the annulus were examined. ⺠Presence of particles creates two off-center peaks air velocity. ⺠Rotation of drill pipe prevents accumulation of particles in the smaller space. ⺠Eccentricity and rotation of the drill string increase pressure drop slightly.
