Abstract
⺠DNRL was prepared for use as a controlling layer membrane in NTPs. ⺠NTPs were constructed by a heat-sealing technique. ⺠Membrane thickness and nicotine content affected the in vitro release and skin permeation rate of nicotine. ⺠The newly developed NTPs were stable at 4 °C for up to 3 months. ⺠DNRL is suitable for use as a controlling layer membrane.
