Abstract
⺠Novel lipophilic amine solvent is proposed as alternative absorbent for CO2 capture. ⺠Thermomorphic phase transition enhances solvent regeneration at only 80 °C. ⺠The biphasic solvent performs high cyclic CO2 capacity and good reactivity. ⺠Lipophilic amine presents low degradability but high vaporisation loss. ⺠The vaporisation loss can be substantially reduced by condensation or scrubbing.
