Abstract
⺠Texture influence on liquid-side mass transfer is studied for practical conditions. ⺠The impact of liquid and gas loads for different textures is investigated. ⺠Mass transfer intensification up to 80% is possible using textures at high Re. ⺠Mass transfer tests confirm former fluid dynamic tests by Zhao and Cerro (1992). ⺠Very useful fundamental data for silicone oils absorbing CO2 are provided.
