Utilization of Carbon Dioxide in Fly Ash and Water Mixtures

Greenhouse gases emission, mainly carbon dioxide, is one of the most important problems of the recent years. That is why many actions have been taken up, not only to reduce emission of greenhouse gases but to store them and utilize as well. The reduction of the carbon dioxide emission is extremely difficult in the case of its largest source—power industry. This industry also produces other type of waste—fly ashes. The authors’ idea is to utilize carbon dioxide by its fixation in fly ash suspension and deposit in underground mines.
