Abstract
⺠Above-ground biomass was estimated for a County in Norway (27,390 km2). ⺠Separate sub-County estimates and cover type estimates were provided. ⺠Laser scanning used for sampling was combined with National Forest Inventory plots. ⺠Model-dependent and model-assisted estimators were tested and compared. ⺠Laser sampling was demonstrated to be a feasible method for regional estimation.
