Abstract
⺠Two Brachyphyllum species are described from the Lower Cretaceous of NW China. ⺠Demonstrate an affinity with the extinct Cheirolepidiaceae. ⺠Support a warm seasonally and temporarily dry climate during the Early Cretaceous.
