Abstract
⺠Four sedimentary facies were recognized in the Cenomanian-Turonian succession. ⺠The facies are peritidal clastic & carbonates and sallow & deep subtidal facies. ⺠This succession is divided into four sequences delineated by five boundaries. ⺠Sedimentation of the sequences is controlled by local, regional and global factors.
