Abstract
⺠We did first Palynological study at the K/Pg boundary in the Gams Basin, Austria. ⺠Over 178 dinoflagellate cyst species and subspecies were identified. ⺠well-known dinocyst marker species around the K/Pg boundary were recorded. ⺠6 dinocyst assemblages and 4 palynovacies assemblages were identified. ⺠Spongodinium delitiense acmes are recorded above the K/Pg boundary.
