Abstract
For low heat inputs, the heat pipe with the thinnest fibre wick performs the best. For a heat input of 100âW, the fibre heat pipe with the highest porosity performs best. This shows that, especially for high heat inputs, the metal felt material has potential as a wick material for capillary driven heat pipes.
