Abstract
⺠Experimental investigations on phase change material based pin fin heat sinks. ⺠PCM materials: n-eicosane, paraffin wax; Heat sink material - aluminium. ⺠Baseline comparisons with a heat sink filled with PCM, without any fin. ⺠ANN - GA algorithm to maximize operating time for the n-eicosane heat sink. ⺠The resulting optimum valid even for paraffin wax based PCM too.
