Abstract
⺠It evaluates the efficiency of electric energy use in water cooling towers. ⺠We study the ratio between the pressure drop coefficient and the fan-driven unit efficiency. ⺠We present a new parameter to assess the use of electricity in water cooling towers. ⺠The new parameter improves the selection or upgrading of water cooling towers.
