Abstract
⺠A prototype vapor chamber was built and tested for its thermal performance under five different orientations. ⺠Spreading resistance exhibited the dominating factor in determining the overall thermal resistance of a vapor chamber. ⺠Mechanism of heat source orientation and gravity effects on vapor chamber were discussed.
