Abstract
⺠The material properties which limit dehumidification performance are investigated. ⺠Dehumidification is limited primarily by a combination of thermal affects. ⺠At higher face velocities, moisture diffusion kinetics also become important. ⺠The absolute moisture capacity has very limited influence on the performance. ⺠The optimum isotherm shape is between a Type 1 and linear isotherm.
