Abstract
⺠The use of CAES with using the high compressor discharge energy is analyzed. ⺠Performance of adiabatic CAES is calculated and compared with conventional systems. ⺠This system offered relatively high energy storage efficiency. ⺠The effect of variation of mË, Ta, and Rc on some performance parameters is analyzed. ⺠The results showed superior performance of the adiabatic CAES system.
