Abstract
► An LBM is introduced to simulate magnetic fluids in a porous cavity. ► The flow and heat transfer characteristic is investigated. ► The flow is accelerated with the increase of porosity and Darcy number. ► Heat transfer is enhanced with increase of porosity and Darcy number of the cavity.
