Abstract
⺠We designed a combined HVAC&R system. ⺠Three parameters were tested for their impact on DEC cooling efficiency. ⺠An empirical correlation between frontal air velocity and cooling efficiency was established. ⺠Decrease in air velocity and water temperature, increase in heating unit temperature all result in higher efficiencies.
