Abstract
► Heat transfer and flow behaviour for straight and inclined fins were investigated. ► Formation of a longitudinal vortex by the inclined fins was clearly observed. But the horseshoe vortex appeared for both straight and inclined fins. ► Heat transfer enhancement at a factor of more than three times than the finless duct is achieved.
