Abstract
⺠A water-mist system was challenged in fire suppression and thermal control. ⺠A high-hazard storage was chosen as a large-scale scenario. ⺠A commercial additive was inserted to be compared to the sole-water flow. ⺠Thermal transient was measured to evaluate suppression performance. ⺠Water/additive flow yielded to remarkable temperature control and suppression.
