Abstract
⺠We have introduced a new and simplified method on thermal performance capacity evaluation of counter flow cooling tower. ⺠The ratio of water-to-air loading (L/G) which effectively constrain the tower characteristics is evaluated. ⺠The predicted values of L/G from the modified model which mass and energy losses by the water are included in the balance equations (TDA) were found to be best suite with that from the experiment. ⺠The TDA method allowed reduction of test data and comparison of test results to design data.
