Abstract
⺠EGR reduces both knock intensity and exhaust gas temperature whit respect to pure air-gasoline fueling (base engine). ⺠Both air-fuel ratio and spark advance can be improved considering new boost pressure level. ⺠Optimizing the main control parameters the power output is recovered. ⺠The new strategy control allows to increase fuel economy at the same power output.
