Abstract
⺠Copper has anti-bacterial ability but poor wettability. ⺠A surface treating method was developed to improve the copper evaporator wettability. ⺠The hydrophilically treated evaporator yields a higher cooling capacity than the untreated one. ⺠The cooling capacity increases with increasing indoor air humidity.
