Abstract
⺠We model one detached house built in 70's in Italy with two kinds of generators for space heating. ⺠We analyzed performances of a microCHP wall hung domestic unit and a wall hung gas condensing boiler. ⺠We assess the economical and energetic performances. ⺠The microCHP unit can reduce the primary energy demand in existing building. ⺠The microCHP unitcan obtain savings that justify the investment if systems are suitable.
