Abstract
► An “on-off control” system for adjusting and metering household heat is proposed. ► Room temperature was maintained by predicting the valve on-time ratio. ► Heating cost was allocated according to the accumulative open time of the valve. ► Indoor temperatures were accurately controlled within ±0.5 °C of the set point. ► 20%-30% of heat energy consumption can be saved through this system.
