Abstract
⺠Desiccant AHUs coupled to MCHPs are good alternatives to electric cooling systems. ⺠Their performances are strongly influenced by boundary and operating conditions. ⺠These polygeneration systems allow primary energy savings up to about 30%. ⺠CO2 equivalent emission reductions up to about 40% can be obtained. ⺠The operating hours at partial load for the microcogenerator should be minimized.
