Abstract
► Natural circulation behaviour of Al2O3 Nanofluid was studied. ► Experiments were carried out in high pressure natural circulation loop. ► Natural circulation flow rates were found to be relatively higher in nanofluids under single-phase conditions. ► Nanofluids were found to suppress boiling induced Type-I instabilities. ► Also, in case of nanofluids, boiling was found to be induced earlier than water.
